Booking and Cancellation Terms

Short answer

If you cancel 90 or more days before your tour starts, you get everything you paid back. After that the refund falls in steps, down to nothing in the last 14 days. If we cancel, you always get a full refund.

How much do you get back if you cancel?

The share of the tour price returned, by how many days before the tour starts we receive your cancellation in writing:

What is not refunded?

Money we have already paid to someone else for you and cannot get back, such as a flight we have already ticketed, a visa fee or a permit fee. We show you the amount.
Flights and the visa fee are not part of the tour price in the first place (see what each tour includes).

What if we cancel?

If we cannot arrange your visa or permits, or we judge the trip not safe to run, we cancel and refund everything you paid for the tour.
On a group departure, if fewer than the minimum number of guests have booked by the last booking day, we cancel and refund everything you paid.

How do you cancel, and when is the refund paid?

Tell us in writing, by WhatsApp or email. The day we receive your message counts.
We pay the refund within 30 days, to the way you paid. Bank charges on the refund are not ours.
A deposit is part of the tour price. Its amount is in your written quote.

Questions about cancelling

Can I cancel an Afghanistan tour and get my money back?

Yes. Cancel 90 or more days before the tour starts and you get back everything you paid. Closer to the start date you get back a share of the tour price: 62% at 60 to 89 days, 42% at 30 to 59 days, 22% at 15 to 29 days, and nothing in the last 14 days.

What if the group tour does not fill?

A group departure needs a minimum number of guests, shown on its page. If fewer have booked by the last booking day, we cancel it and refund everything you paid.

What if Al Hamid Tour and Travel cancels?

You get back everything you paid for the tour.

How long does a refund take?

We pay it within 30 days of your cancellation, to the way you paid.
