Al Hamid Tour and Travel is a licensed tour operator (licence no. 459) based in Kabul, Afghanistan. We run private, guided trips to sixteen provinces, from Kabul and Bamyan to Herat, Mazar-e-Sharif and the Wakhan Corridor, and we book the flights, hotels and visa paperwork for them. Trips start from $200 per person. More than 150 guests travelled with us in 2025.
Where are we based?
Our office is on the fourth floor of Park Tower in Shar-e-Naw, Kabul. Everyone who plans your trip works from there, and you are welcome to visit during office hours. The route, the hotels and the guide are all arranged by people you can speak to directly.

What do we do?
- Private tours. Set tours in sixteen provinces, from a two-day Kabul walk to the seven-day Wakhan Corridor expedition. Every one runs on your dates, for your group only. See the tours and prices.
- Flights. We book and ticket the domestic flights from Kabul and the international flights to and from Kabul.
- Hotels. Hotels with breakfast are part of every tour, and we also book hotels on their own.
- Visa and permits. We write the invitation letter, help with the visa application and arrange the provincial permits.
How does a trip with us work?
- You send your dates, group size and the places you want to see, on WhatsApp or through the booking page.
- We reply with a route and a written quote within 24 hours, with what is included and what is not.
- We prepare the invitation letter, the visa support and the permits, and book flights and hotels if you ask us to.
- Your guide and driver meet you at Kabul airport, and you travel in a private vehicle.
- Our WhatsApp line stays open for the whole trip, so you can reach someone at any hour.
Which languages do our guides speak?
An English-speaking guide is included with every tour. On request we can also arrange a translator who speaks Russian, Dutch, Spanish, French, Chinese, Hindi, Urdu or Arabic. This website is in English, Dari and Pashto.
